Help! I just rescued a plant yesterday. Itâs a white knight philodendron. It took a tumble today and it chopped off two of its leaves. Is there any way to save/propagate the two that have fallen off? I am currently repotting it and have moss poles on there way for support for it. Any suggestions are much appreciated :)
Working on two monstera props! Weâll see how it goes!
What is the best Sphagnum Moss to use for a moss pole? Pictures would be great if possible. Thank you!
Propagating some brand new babies!! Iâm very new to this so I hope they survive! Any tips?
Hi! New at this, have never propagated. Was gifted these 3 cuttings. I don't know a thing about propagating... how much water? Can I plant the red maranta? Help! TIA
Hey yâall! Just planted some pathos propagations. This will be my second attempt. The previous attempt ended in root rot and the only vine that stayed alive was the longer, more mature one. I would love some tips on how often I should water this. I follow the watering routine for my pathos by the Planta guidance. But for cuttings, should I be watering it any differently?
Propagating (left to right) a silver sword philodendron, a golden pothos, and a neon pothos (pic 1). 2 golden pothos and 2 neon pothos (pic 2). Iâm kind of proud of myself for a new plant mom and doing this with my kids. đ
I am in the process of propagating hydrangeas from cuttings. Most have rooted but it is not ready to plant because the roots are still tiny. When should I take it out of its perlite and what to do after that?
This succulent is growing from the leaf. Its about an inch tall maybe. When should i detach the leaf I propagated it from? Or should i just leave it attached?
Can I propagate these stem pieces of my monstera? I have them in water but not sure if thatâs a good idea or if I should try a different method or Iâll even have any luck with them.
Does anyone know how to propagate these I think they are common houseleek
my chinchilla of 18.5 years passed away so i thought this was a good new use for his water bottle to remember himđ©¶
New to propagatingâŠadvice please My first time trying. I got a clipping from a plant, and placed it in water. I change the water every other day.
Best way to propagate a plumeria. I tried the plastic bag and it hollowed out and rotted đ€·đœââïž
Really like this new method I tried, mulberry cuttings turned out great.
Do my propagations have root rot? I donât know what Iâm doing wrong but they donât seem to be growing roots anymore đ
I donât know if Iâve done this correctly. My philodendron had root rot and there was no saving the roots. So when I went to repot, I just divided the branches (each are about 2 feet long with new leaf growth much smaller than the older leaves), and placed about 4 inches of each in a separate jar of water. I heard if youâre propagating, to use cutting so they donât have to go through so much photosynthesis. But I also heard you could divide the plant if you have healthy roots. Since I donât have roots, should I cut these into pieces instead or will I be able to get roots with propagating long stems? *** I really hate to break it apart with so many healthy leaves.*** Thank you all!!
Trying to propagate my succulent, Iâve been misting every 1-2 days⊠am I doing this right? đ
She started as a leaf on the floor at Home Depot âŠ. Now sheâs a mom to lots of little babies đ
