Some stupid javelina came by last night and ate my succulents 😪 this is what I could salvage but is there any hope in propagating these? Would greatly appreciate any tips/advice! (Jade plant, echeveria, and paddle plant)

Any advice about growing an avocado tree from the seed? Specifically by just plopping it into dirt vs water or ziplock bags. I’ve seen lots of advice for the other 2 methods (which I’m sure they all work) but I’ve heard the plant will be healthier and less shocked from moving later via the soil method so I’m more interested in that!

My snake plant propagation station. I bought this one and these were broken off of other plants so the sales person gave them to me, 5 large leaves. I’m trying two different methods. Wish me luck.

I got this tiny prayer plant from a yard sale last year, she had maybe 5-7 leaves. It completely dried up during a cross country move but I managed to water-prop what was left and get a sprout and some roots and then put in my smallest pot on hand and finally got a new leaf. I water when dry and have only fertilized once. I had it on a shelf in a Northeast corner of windows but have moved it further away in the same room. Is there anything else I can be doing to bring it back to life/get more sprouts?

Has anyone ever started house plants from seeds/bulbs? I really want to try, but I’m not sure how to get started. Would I need to buy a mini greenhouse?

I propagated this beauty off a single short clipping. I want to start propagating off her so I can get her fuller. Is it too soon to do some light chopping or should I wait a bit longer?

Morning! Just gave my leggy gal a much needed haircut. Now what?! I’ve propped these before but it’s been years. I know I need to let the cuttings callous for a few days before repotting but what about the mother plant? Should I apply cinnamon or some such to the “wounds”? Feeling a little overwhelmed so any help is much appreciated 🪴

Good morning! I propagating several leaves last summer from a monstera monkey mask. They were great in water and fine for months after transplanting to tropical mix soil and I got orchid plants to make sure there was plenty of drainage. I am constantly living off the yellowing leaves and Browning new growth ??? What am I doing wrong?

Prop box FTW! Placed this flf cutting in there about a month ago and forgot about it until today. Let's hope she survives the transition to soil. 🤞

First time propagating Pothos, hopefully it goes well. Any tips?

Hey my plant people. I got this purple waffle plant last summer for $1 my rehab 🤗. Now she’s gotten tall and I got my first flowering. I want to make the pot fuller though. Anyone had success propagating into the same pot to make fuller.

This Aloe maculata (I think) was gifted to me a couple months ago with an avocado plant that I sadly waited too long to recover and let die in the cold garage without watering. I finally decided today to trim all of its dead leaves. I have hopes for this because of that little bit of green under the cut, discolored leaves. How should I water this with it being rotten? Did I bury it deep enough? I watered it today before leaving it alone for some weeks. Should I not have done so? I've never worked with a cactus before but I've already accidentally killed almost all 6 of the plants gifted too me over the past year (Plumeria obtusa, gardenia Jasminoidea, and an avocado plant). Such has happened either because of overwatering, too much focus on growing veggie seeds, or the same focus on making my concrete garden bed. I don't want the same to happen to this one. I have a tad bit of hope because I hear 🌵s don't need near as much water.

I got these from a coworker six months ago. I’ve seen new leaves but I don’t know how to transplant and take off the tops indefinitely without killing them or at least there’s some concern I might shock the orchids. Anyone have advice for moving these orchid babies into orchid pots? Thank you!

Excited for spring 1/4 areas of my plants 🌱

I Got this P. Whipple Way Mint a few days ago, it’s just a top cutting with very small roots at the moment. My question: should I chop the drooping leaf to help it focus its energy elsewhere? Or would that hurt it at this stage?

How can I propagate this plant? A lot of the leaves to the bottom part of the plant has died off and I don’t want it looking so bare. It does have a new leaf coming in. Should I wait for that to open up? I also had a trim around a lot of the leaves because they were yellow and brown. I just want my plant looking fresh again.
