My kalanchoe is growing roots way up on the stem randomly. Is it trying to tell me it wants to be cut and replanted at those areas? I had it in the dark for a few days (trying to get it to bloom) then this happened lol

For about a month Iâve been propagating my alocasia frydek corms and itâs looking great! So much growth, especially these last few days, the stems are getting close to the top. Anyone can help outâŠ. how long should I let the roots be before I put it in soil? Or is there another/better technique to let this grow?

I have this White Wizard Philodendron propagation. It has an air root but no roots at the bottom yet. Does anyone know if I should go ahead and plant it or wait for roots to sprout in the water?

Ethics check!!! I was at the grocery store (large chain) and there was a pretty decent sized succulent that had broken off from its base. I debated putting it in my purse bc I know it will just get thrown away but then I got self conscious because itâs right by the entrance door and camerasâŠ.. stealing or saving?!?

This (corn?) plant loves this spot and has grown so quickly that it is now officially touching my ceiling đł does anybody know if Iâm able to propagate it and if so, how? Or any other suggestions that would allow me to keep the plant here other than cutting a hole in my ceiling đ TIA!

Hey everyone! Have 2 pots with various types of Holiday Cactus clippings I could use some help with! Both pots are indoors but under grow lights 9hrs a day. The one with the arrow pointing to it is the oldest clipping, from almost a year ago. And it hasnât grown AT ALL! It does have roots, Iâve checked, but no signs of new segments growing at all. No matter what I try, with watering or fertilizing, etc. All the other clippings are from about 4months ago, they havenât grown either, and the roots are barely there. And no signs of growth on top either. Iâm pretty bummed Iâve had no luck with these yet! My grandma (who I got the clippings from) propagated a clipping around the same time the one with the arrow was started(about a year ago). And her plant has grown SO MUCH, like enough to take new clippings from! Any advice to help me jumpstart these would be super appreciated! Thanks!

Monsterra prop help! My monsterra had root rot, so I took off the bad roots and sanitized the others. During my research, I saw it was recommended to take a node (?) in case the plant doesnât do well after root rot care. I put these in water, but the roots got all mushy. Can I propagate these without roots? Are they too far gone?

Hello! I have this floral design set my grandma bought off the tv back in the 90s and never used lol I was wondering if it could be used for propagating, or are the little bottles too small to be effective for that? I just thought it would be a neat idea lol

So Iâve been trying to propagate my money tree and for some time itâs had these crystal like things since I started propagating it. It hasnât developed roots yet. Do I need to wife down the crystals or leave it ? itâs not hard crystals, when changing the water some of the crystals come out. HELPđ

If something goes wrong I wonât be able to take care of them.â âŠbut then I walk into my plant room and see a new growth point, a bloom, and roots on props I made less than a week ago. Iâm flooded with joy and right back in it. đ
