How do you propagate string of pearls? I have a string of pearls that is mostly dead with one strip of pretty pearls left. I want to try to propagate this section. I have tried before in just water but it did not work. How have yall propagate these???
UPDATE: roots appear to coming in nicely. I added some basil to propagate and will be potting these all shortly! First time propagating my baby spider plants. Looks like I’m seeing roots forming! Should I wait another week or so to add to soil? Any tips are appreciated!

This is my first time trimming and propagating. I’m open to any advice!
While moving my Peperomia obtusifolia ‘marble’ yesterday, a leaf fell off, and while I know it’s a long shot for growth, I decided why not try to propagate? I got a super old seedling tray my mom had lying around and poked holes in it, poked a couple holes in the top of the lid for air flow, filled it with some succulent soil I had laying around, and planted the leaf! I’ll make sure to update you all, though this certainly might end with the leaf just dying. I know the soil isn’t the best, but I didn’t have any moss or perlite around and I honestly wasn’t going to buy more for a leaf that might not make it 🥲 Any advice for this little one’s future care would be very appreciated! I have a luseana umbrella tree that was becoming leggy and tall, so to encourage side growth, I lopped off the top. Should I keep it like this, or do I need to snap off any branches right below the cut to open up nodes? Thanks! (Yes, I have the top in water!)
