I don’t know if these are too big/tall for propogating but these antique milk bottles look so pretty like this I had to try…

My milkweed seedlings are very happy! I'm just wondering if anyone knows how long I can keep them in such a shallow container? I know they have a long taproot. I just didn't expect them to grow so fast! They only just sprouted a little over a week ago. Transplanting them outdoors is risky this early in the season, as I am still getting snow/frost! 😬 What should I do?

A quick update: Very proud to see these three little babies coming out! Two leaves on left side on to each other like twins. 🥰

Hello! Does anyone have any tricks or tips they use to coax their plants into either sending off runners or making corms? I want to share my plants with my friends without cutting mine but so far none have made corms as far as I know. Thanks!

hi!! i have this propagation of an unknown plant (maybe some type of pothos) and it’s starting to root!! Would it be safe to cut the excess stem under where the root is sprouting before planting later? Or can i plant it with the stem

Trying to propagate this monstera cutting. Are those white fuzz spots roots? Any tips, tricks, or advice on propagating monstera cuttings would be greatly appreciated.

Propagated these golden pothos clippings in water almost three months ago and today they were finally rooted enough that I repotted them! This was my first time propagating anything and I’m normally not that good with plants so I’m very excited about it :)

My African Violet propagation sprouted! I took five leaves from the momma plant when she was looking less than healthy in case she didn’t make it, and this is the only one that’s sprouted so far. I had to give up on three, but I’m happy because this is my first time propping African Violets! This prop is about 2.5 months old. The momma plant is super healthy now too 🤍🥳

Hi everyone, I’d like to Propagate my split leaf however I don’t see any nodes to cut under. Can anyone suggest what I can do? I realize this may be a stupid question but do the roots count as nodes?

Wondering whether I should be propogating my zebra plant, it's doing great but seems to be becoming quite leggy. Thoughts?

Looking for tips for propagating this African Violet flower leaf. It came off the main plant and someone told me to put it in water. It now has these little shoots, does anyone know when I should plant it in soil? And what type of soil and pot? Thanks for any help!

Hi. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have a mccolleys finale that got damaged because its lower leaves were on the cold floor of the outdoor greenhouse. I removed the dead/dying leaves and the plants are doing well now but the bottom is left very bare. With spring coming soon I’m wondering if I should chop this up and propagate the tops or separate the two plants or just leave it alone. Thanks in advance.

I found this beauty on fb marketplace and couldn’t say no! It’s been propagating in water for a few weeks according to the seller. I’ve never propagated anything before. I’ve heard propagating in perlite is really good? Or should I continue with water? If it stays in water how often should I change the water (and do I fertilise the water?) So many questions sorry! I’ve gone plant mad in recent weeks (i’ve finally put down roots of my own - excuse the pun - and I’ve always wanted loads of plants) :D

Any tips on how to pot this SOT cutting when the time comes? Thanks everyone who has helped me on my nightmare string of turtles journey! I was able to salvage this piece and have been propagating it! It’s going so well and has quite a few roots coming in!
