My inch plant’s root died at some point so I cut the stem into 3 pieces to try and propagate and save her 😭 I watched a YouTube video but can someone tell me if these are cut correct? I have them in small glass vases or water.

Hey guys, I have this philo brasil that looked so beautiful and full when I bought it. Then I got super stressed and basically ignored my plants for about a month and now she looks like this. I have her on my windowsill (SE facing, not super sunny here. It has a screen, and temps range from 30-50 rn.) she does have growth at the base and at the end of this long vine, but I want her more full. How can I propagate her to help? Where do I cut? After putting them in water can I stick them right back into this pot? TIA

I’m new to the propagating world. These Philodendron Brasil props have been in water for a few months. Are their roots strong enough to go to soil or do they need more? From left to right, the second to left only has one small root so that one will stay in water regardless for now

Propagating Orchid. Please help. Hello there, Please help! Is there any chance this Orchid can be propagated?? It now has only one green leaf remaining😔 Thank you. (It’s important to me, it was given by a friend 4 years ago who has since passed away. It was doing well untill now. I’ve been unwell since too. The caretaker of my plants has not taken care of it, with soil changes as the roots are exposed I’m told. Please help.

I found these at home depot. Can I propagate them ?

I have a seed from a Texas Mountain Laurel. I live in South Dakota and was reading up on this and how hot it likes temperatures. South Dakota gets too cold for it to be outside (average lows of 10 F but last winter we hit negatives multiple weeks in a row) as the laurel only can manage to about 10 F minimum, but does anyone have any tips for possibly growing it indoors? Or maybe starting it indoors and putting it outside after it has steady growth? I am pretty new to plant care so any advice would be appreciated 😅

I just wanted to share that I have a leaf growing in the water of one of my propagations. I have never seen this before and it made me tear up because water is life it is revival it is resilient.

Any tips for alocasia frydek corms? I was able to have roots and a leaf grow out of three corms. Now I put one in soil and it’s yellowing

This is my first time I’ve been able to see growth trying to propagate an Alocasia corm. Perlite has failed me in the past and I have never gotten this far before. They’re in a little nursery pot in a smaller cup with water and in a zip lock bag for extra humidity which I open periodically. Is there anything else I should be doing? I really want these lil guys to be successful so any advice I would really appreciate!

Hi everyone! About two? Months ago I propagated my mom’s golden pothos and after I saw three long roots I planted her here. Shes staying alive and doing well but hasn’t grown, and I don’t know if it’s because it’s too short of time to see growth or if it’s because it’s not growing season, or another reason. I have her in this terracotta pot and tray and I have a rock over the drainage hole but there’s still dirt that gets through because it’s not fully covering it. When I place her down, some dirt comes out of the hole and this dirt in the picture seems odd to me. It looks kind of ball-y (idk how to describe) and I saw two tiny bugs there when I picked her up so I just got rid do them and the dirt on the tray. I picked her up again today and saw one tiny bug. Why is this? Sorry for the long post, any help appreciated. I’m new and trying to learn.
