Welp, I accidentally rotted my taco leaf plant đđ Iâm wondering if this can be saved by propagating? Do they grow whole plants from the leaves like other peperomias, or do I need a stem cutting? Can they root in water, or should I put cuttings directly in cactus soil??
Thanks all!
Heather
Thought I would post one final update on my propagating a pineapple from a cut top for those interested in seeing how it is progressing. I finally moved it indoors for winter. At the rate it is growing it will definitely need a new pot for spring when moved back outside. Previous photos are in the plant link.
Hello everyone! đ± đȘŽ
I have been caring for this little guy for about a month or two. I love him! Just within the last two days, the roots have turned to this darker color.
The only difference is I added a grow light from Amazon (the clip ons) and moved it next to my bigger monstera instead of being with the other babies. Is there a reason and is he okay???! đđ„č

This philodendron Birkin was just given to me by a friend, wondering if I can propagate this whole part in water or if I should just burry with more soil? I donât want to rip it out but thereâs so many roots showing from it and I love my plants in water. Please let me know!

Can I propagate this??đ
I had a cutting I was trying to propagate in leca but the leaf died and then the stem was dying so I took it out of the leca and threw it away, but when I dumped out the leca I found this. It looks like the only healthy little part of the plant that might hang out for dear life???
Iâm not exactly sure if I can stick this in something very small with leca, or submerge in water to get roots to grow? Any advice??

The leave is all dried up now. Would you plant this in dirt? If yes, do I just bury the dried up leave? I have left it alone for weeks and it rewarded me with this beauty! Thanks so much.

Greetings! After placing a big order and then having some transactional issues from the companies end causing a two week delay to even begin shipping, the very kind owner said I could pick an Amaryllis bulb if my choice. I forgot the name but itâs going to be orange and white.
I have only ever planted Caladium bulbs in my past and wow, this Amaryllis bulb is huge and intimidating. I have taken two pics shown below: one of the bulb and one of the instruction sheet that was on the companyâs website for download.
Everything sounded pretty straight forward, except, under the section about soil it is telling me to fill my pot a little more than half-way full of moistened soil (sounds like usual), then set the bulb so that the âtop two thirds are exposedâ.
The rest of the directions do not ever mention adding more soil to cover the bulb up completely. So, is this accurate: the bulbs top 2/3rds will be exposed for its lifetime as I water and watch it grow? Or did the writer of these instructions forget to include that little, obvious last step that generally says âfinish by covering the rest of the exposed bulb(s) with soil and add about another 2â soul above the top of the bulb.â???
PLEASE HELP! Also and quite importantly (Iâm obviously a newb), in my pic below, do I have the bulb currently pointed in the correct direction? Or is it upside down and would need to be flipped over to pot it right? Those look to me like clear roots on the bottom side but now Iâm second guessing it all.
Any other pro tips on growing amaryllis in a pot indoors would be sorely appreciated. Thank you!! Caitlin

Well the de-flasking went pretty well. Except the one guy was too big, so I had to just put a cover over top.
