On of my favorite corners 🥰
Are these spider plant plantlets ready for propagation?
Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree I first purchased my Fiddle Fig plant at Lowe’s on clearance for $3. As you see my Fiddle Fig leaf tree has thrived and now has gotten very tall. I do believe it’s time for me to propagate, but I’m scared. I know it will be so good for her, but I’m just afraid to do what needs to be done 🫣 Can anyone off me some advice on getting out of my own way and just give my girl the hair cut she needs.
I’ve propagated a handful of plants but I’ve never seen leaves growing under water. Is this normal? I’m wondering how I’ll pot it if the roots are higher than the leaves.
So about a week and a half ago I propagated my monstera plant. I now have two plants with established roots. I’m not sure what to do next to make sure I have a large plant with fenestrations leaves, any recommendations?
My boot Lily finally have rooted. It is repotted in soil. Hope Bootsy will make me as happy as the others!🥰
Took a walk in our local park nature perserve area today and was really studying all the plants as I walked by today for the first time ever really. I kept wondering if there were any that I could cut and take home to propagate. Does anyone know? Has anyone ever done that? I live in the South Jersey area. Hopefully it’s legal 🙏🏼💚 Poison ivy also grows wildly in this area so I’d need to make sure I avoid any ivy’s it’s hard to tell which might be poisonous. Photo below of my little spider plant props at home. I tried an experiment this week where I put some spaghum moss in their water. So it almost looks like they are potted in glass containers. They trying their hardest to make roots 🙏🏼💚
Propagating my pothos! This is all I have left of my plant so I really want to succeed with this one. Any advice?
Anyone know why this propagation isn’t growing like the others? It only has roots but they aren’t growing into the dirt very much. Should I take him out from under the grow light? 1st and second pic shows what it looks like now! Last pic are my other props. I got them all in May!
Re-potting her and saw these and there were large chunks of styrofoam in the soil too.
My cuttings are rooting 😊 When would be the best time to transfer them back with the rest of the plant? And should I change the water? She’s been in this water for 4 days.
i bought this string of pearl propagation and the ends were in water. is that the proper way to do this? i really want them to thrive! help pls 🥹
Please help! Here's a pic of my Pilea plant and her babies. Ella and Baby Ellas. I moved them to a southern window and the babies look better than they did about 2 months ago. But the mother plant isn't seeming to do anything. I'm following the Planta plan religiously. I have a few questions.... Any thoughts why the mother plant is so leggy and not getting any more leaves? How long should I wait before putting three babies in a bigger pot? If I repot the babies, should they be split up or stay together to have a fuller plant? TIA
Colour pepper is colouring
First time trying to propagate a ficus ruby in water. Praying they all survive. At least most of them:)
Should I cut this down or leave it be? Heyy😸 my coworker recently gifted me a chunk of her snake plant and it appears to be rooting well in this cup. My next worry is it appears to be too tall for any of my current grow areas. Should I chop her down and make props? Or will she grow out ok as is.
Not sure if this is the place to ask, but as a new hoya parent I need some guidance. Is the end part of this stem dead? Should it be cut off?
About to show just how much of a newbie I am (lol). Found this on my walk today…big aloe leaf. Can it be propagated?
