I got this from my monstera after I dropped her today and this shook loose. Can I prop this? Should I do water or straight to soil? Everything feels healthy on her just my oopsie. Iâm pretty new to propagating so any and all advice is welcome

Hi plant friends! I have a glorious rubber tree that was the first of my (now 55 plant strong) collection when it only had 3 leaves! Itâs my pride and joy but itâs getting too big for the current space (there arenât really any other places I could put it - although as a last resort I could find somewhere!). Iâm wondering what to do for the best. Should I: A: chop and prop (if so, how and how much should I chop?). B: find a new spot (not an easy task as itâs now 115 cm/45 in tall) C: find some way to train it so it doesnât hit the ceiling? Please share your wisdom so I can help my baby! Thank you đȘŽ

My friends lobster claw has lost its centre flower. It has developed the baby offshoots. When do you know the offshoot is mature enough to propagate? How would you propagate? TIA

Interesting propagation results from two different methods. Pic 1 cutting was in leca. Pic 2 cutting was in water with an aquarium bubbler running. Cuttings are from the same Scind Silver Splash vine and started at the same time.

My rescued Imperial Red, Rome, had severe root and stem rot which required him to basically regrow from scratch (save one healthy leaf). He has been propogating in water for about a month or so -- do these roots look long enough to transition him into soil or should I wait a bit longer?

Excited to see how these propagations root up! I have a Pilea Peperomioides, Cissus Discolor, Philodendron Hederaceum, and my Fiscus that I just chopped spontaneously yesterday. Wish me luck!!

So I wasnât actually sure this could happen until I saw it with my own eyes. Somehow managed to save and successfully âstartâ one single leaf from a now-dead (one over-watering gone horribly wrong, lesson learned) echeveria. What now? Iâm new to keeping succulents (alive, at least) and I have NEVER propagated anything in my life! I am thrilled by this little thing, though, and I want to keep it alive! Any and all advice is appreciated.

I'm so proud of my butterfly bush props! I had no idea butterfly bush could even propagate. đ€Ż Back in February, a huge pile of snow fell off the roof and chopped my butterfly bush up. I simply took a couple of the broken branches and stuck them in the ground. To my surprise, they were still green months later. So i potted them and now they're in full bloom!

I have a very tall aloe plant that Iâm wondering if I should repot into a bigger pot or can I cut the stem, let it callous and then repot? I am worried that the more he grows he will get top heavy and break.

Any tips for moving water props to soil? I have been up and down with my Monstera Dubia but putting the plant in water saved it. It now has long strong roots and new leaves. I want to move it into my Lizardâs vivarium but am afraid of killing it from shock. Iâve heard adding soil slowly to the water can make for a smoother transition- anyone had luck with this? Thanks!!
