Any tips on propagating a bat plant? My mother has a gorgeous bat plant and last week I took a few clippings. Itâs been about a week a couple of the clippings seem to be wilting.

Hi propagation friends! I just âborrowedâ this cactus from a cactus on my complexâs property. She had many tens of arms to share normally, when I propagate a cactus in soil, I cut where I put the yellow arrow on the picture. But I just want to make sure you donât think I should plant where it broke off, with a little piece of the previous top? Also, can I de-thorn it so I can pet her later, or will it kill her? I know thatâs strange but I like her rubbery fake âthornsâ and wish to pet them if I can remove or trim down the very sharp white real thorns if it doesnât hurt her. Thanks!

Are there any herbs, readily available in the produce section, that might be coaxed to grow? I donât like to buy fresh herbs in clamshells but I have to. Thatâs my first reason for starting to grow plants. This year, Iâm going to be ready for fall and holiday cooking. This is Basil. He was saved from becoming white bean salad. He was a living plant though, wrapped in a cloth, not a clamshell.

Propagating this one and sooo excited, but itâs been 4 weeks and no changes but the leaves still look healthy! Am I being inpatient or should I adjust anything? I change the water every week and we also have a grow light thatâs overhead in the middle of the room and itâs on about 6-9 ish hours a day.

Been propagating this guy for 4 weeks! Iâm jumping the gun because it feels like Iâve had him for months until reality set in when I went to write this post ⊠but when is the root big enough to plant?! Also is the growth as far as long as you would expect for 4 weeks? If not, this is my setup any suggestions?

one of my coworkers had a pot of succulents in her classroom. apparently they hadnât been repotted in two years, and they were very overwatered. i looked at them right then- my god were they sad. i took them off of her hands, and hopefully iâm gonna be able to bring it back. i donât really know what it doing but ive done lots of research. i chose some healthy leaves, hopefully theyâll start making little baby succulents. have been in this container near my window for around 4-5 days now. one of my other coworkers also had some practically dead succulents at home, and iâve seemingly revived them from the dead. idk if iâm doing this right though! ugh first pic is all of the pots w their plants, second is of the babies i thought were dead, last one is more from the 2 year old plants

help help help! I put this jade pothos cutting in water a few days ago and it started to root very quickly, a day or two after the roots sprouted they started to brown?! its been probably less than 2 weeks in total that its been propagating, should I put it in dirt already or is it a fail???

I literally forget about this prop constantly and itâs doing so freaking good⊠my first attempt at a cutting prop and I forgot to mark what it was⊠maybe I was just too excited? Well now I canât remember if itâs hibiscus or rose and what color đ đ€·ââïžđ€Šââïž but yay that root looks like itâs coming in big and strong!đ„łđ„łđ„ł
