I would like to prologare this string of buttons, how would I do that? Im planning to move all these plants into their own individual pots here soon, but with how tall this string of buttons is Iâd also like to propagate it to have more stems. Itâs already growing two new stems at the base on its own, but the main stem is so tall and im hoping I can use propping it to also even put the heights a little.
Itâs not quite a seed but i plopped some of my alocasia baroque sword corms into some stratum from a take out container đ«¶đŒâš thereâs a small bit of water and iâm keeping it under a grow light. any advice? thank you đ«¶đŒ
This snake plant has roots so what would be the best way to propagate it? Should I still cut it in a v shape or clean up the roots and stick it in water?
Question â what is the best light for propagating plants? Does it depend on the plant, or the propagation method? Iâve seen some sources say to give it as much light as possible, some say keep it in a shady corner. I have a few plants propagating right now â a peperomia hope (in water), a couple of pothos varieties (in water), jade (in soil), tradescantia (in sphagnum moss). Iâm fairly new to propagating and still experimenting with different methods, but I want to give them all the best shot at success!
Hello everyone Iâm very new to plants I was gifted a monstera but it had rotting and was told to propagate I âthoughtâ I let it dry for 12 hours or so not sure where to go from here :( any help would be great!đ€

Iâm propagating jade plants and have repotted them to a larger shallow pot without drainage. Itâs been a few months and they havenât died but they havenât rooted either and they constantly look dehydrated. What do I do? âčïžâčïž
You know what will provide a proper dose of serotonin? Coming home to see your basil seedlings are starting to pop up! This is my first time trying to sow using a plain ole potting mix, and seeds from a packet (previously used âsmart gardenâ kits) Do you have any advice on soil mixes youâve used that you like, or any recommendations for ratios when mixing your own? Also, would love to hear about your favorite plants to grow from seeds! I plan to sow again soon and would like to experiment with various seeds and setups ^_^
any idea how to propagate a aloe vera plant? she is starting to rot on one of her leaves and i want to propagate her.
Hi everyone! I propagated this umbrella tree cutting & planted it in some soil about a month & a half ago & the roots are already popping out of the bottom of the pot. Should I repot her again? Or leave her for a while? Hopefully this is the right group for this question! đ
So, I managed to break off 2 pieces of Caliope. I stuck them in water when I did it about a week ago, and although new roots were showing practically overnight, they now look like this⊠Is that normal?? đ€·đ»ââïž
Rooted this begonia cutting in water. Just potted it in a plastic pot yesterday. Looking happy this morning. It will be going outdoors. Any suggestions for space it will like? I live in a zone 9.

Hello! Are dark ends on roots normal? I noticed a few of my cuttings have these dark little ends at the root. I felt to see if they were squishy but didnât seem so. Is it rot?
