I just got this amaryllis and opened the box to see two more stems at the bottom. Do you think I can cut these off and make two other plants ? Thanks for your help!

Does anyone have experience with pothos roots in a goldfish tank? 😊 I’m thinking of adding some to our fish tank but want to be careful.

First time ever propagating anything so I am not sure when to plant my ivy in soil. Also are the roots supposed to be that brown color? I just have her in a glass of water in a bright / indirect light. Change the water every 2 weeks and top off every 3 days.

Tell me you're getting to big for the inner greenhouse, without telling me, you're getting to big for it.....

Do you think this bromeliad pup is big enough to separate? I’m creating a terrarium and plan on mounting it on some cork bark.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to encourage root growth for snake plants?

Jess

I’m struggling!! My husband got me some starter plants for Christmas and I’m propagating them in water. Using Prop Drops and switching out water every 3-4 days with new Prop Drops. Out of the 7 plants, only 1 is rooting!!!! Some are under grow light- others aren’t (but by a window that gets part sun and no direct sunlight). They also have a humidifier. I’m adding photos and asking for so much guidance!

this is the first time i've successfully gotten a succulent prop to root... what do i do now? i've continued to mist it every few days but otherwise leave it alone, but i'm not sure when it's supposed to go into soil? (as in burying the roots)

I just bought this Melanochrysum and it hadn’t been staked properly leading to smaller leaves and leggy growth. I’ll attach pictures. I was gonna do a little chop n prop but I’m not sure where to start the cuttings from? Anyone with experience with this plant or just propagating in general please help! I want her to live up to her full potential, as right now she just isn’t. Still a stunning plant tho :)

Hi! I’m propagating some pothos in water and I need some advice on how to. My other ones died and I have no clue why. Thanks!

I was going to try propagating my pothos that is doing extremely well in my kitchen. Every vine has new growth on the tips. But when I looked it up, it seems like most places say not to propagate Pothos in the winter. I live in SouthEast Wisconsin. Should I try propagating or wait until spring?

Will baby Jade plants successfully grow in Perlite for a while, or is succulent soil right off better?

I’m attempting propagating basil from the grocery store. Is this a lost cause? If not, what should I change? Could I try this with other herbs?

I had lots of succulents that were dropping leaves and I wasn't sure that they would recover so I decided to try and propagate from the dropped leaves as some of them were already rooting, I only had standard potting soil so I planted about 15 in small seedling trays back in September time, these are the remaining ones that haven't rotted away, do I do something with them or just leave them be for longer *parent plant for photo tax

My tiny mung bean finally broke through the soil last night! I am so excited. Used a little clear cup so I can see when the roots need some more space ❤️

Hey y’all! I’ve been propagating this monstera and about to pot. But the roots are only growing out of one side. Anyone have any thoughts on if I should go ahead and pot or should I cut it and split it into two and try and propagate the side with no roots growing? Thanks in advance!

Cross posting: My sister gave me her Fiddle Leaf Fig to rehab. Should I try to propogate this? If so, how do you successfully propogate these? Thanks!
