Weâve got ROOTS!!! Time to plant this little one âșïžâșïžâșïž
So I scaled a Tiger lily bulb and today I looked and saw fuzz which I thought it mightâve been fungus so when I reached to see what it was it was nothing more than a nice fuzzy healthy root growing from the little bulbs that grew from the scales of a big tiger Lilly bulb itâs a great way to get more than one with just one bulb
What are the most effective scarification and stratification methods youâve used? Does the âbestâ method depend on the type of seed or are there methods that generally work with all types of seeds?
I literally cannot get over these mushie vesselsđ€©
I need help propagating this rubber tree! Iâve had her for a while but she grows very slowly, so Iâm hoping giving her a cutting this spring will push more growth out. Or should I wait for it to grow a little more before cutting it? Can I propagate in water? Ideally I would like the stem that I leave to get new growth and also be able to propagate the top cutting. Any advice appreciated :)
Hey guys, I thought Iâd try growing a pomegranate from seed. To my surprise only 2 of 8 seeds sprouted but Iâm just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to care for it. Itâs in a 3.5in container currently
I ran out of perlite so I put these babies in water about a month and a half ago ..here's how they're looking what should I do with them at this point ?đ±
How do i propagate this fiddle leaf fig so that the base will keep growing and make more leaves, and the top will grow roots Root grow powder? Water prop? Or in soil?
I have this Polly alocasia and Ive never seen another one of these seeds in the soil until just now repotting to more breathable soil its always only had one of these white h the big leaf is alr out of in the picture itâs not a corm like what usually grows from the roots I just am not sure if I can plant it in soil without roots?? Or is it best to be put in water for a bit like the corms if anyone knows and could help me out Iâd appreciate it:)đđ
I got an albo cutting from a nursery across the country and I am trying to help it flourish. It is a beautiful plant with big beautiful leaves but the short air root it came with got mushy in water, worsened mushy in sphegmum + perlite, so I snipped it and am trying stratum. Any thoughts from yâall on this propagation method? All my research seems to support particularly monstera propâs doing really really well in stratum. âŠ
How do I get these cuttings to root?
This is labeled as a haageocereus pseudomelanostele. Iâve had it for a few years. It used to have another on each side of this one, but they recently became diseased and died, but I was able to save this one. Within the past year or so, I was re-potting it and the top broke off. As time went on, the 2 âsprouts?â on top started growing. Are these technically pups? If so, does anyone know how to properly propagate them?
Just finished putting together a prop box . Iâve been wanting one for a long time đ Iâll seal it later but happy with the size & transparency
I ordered some Monstera seeds that I have been growing and this little guy is something different. You can see the difference between him and one of the monstera in the second photo⊠Canât wait to see what he ends up growing into!
Updated on the prop box plus I added a lol mini one. Hopefully the sting ofs will thrive!
Hello everyone . I got a cutting for a Philodendron Florida Green a few days ago & have it rooting in water . Iâm noticing the leaf is losing color . Is this normal for a cutting ? I checked the chonk & it still looks good no roots yet . Thank you !
Guys! Iâm trying to save this thang! Preferably detaching the pup. Could I even regrow the roots by water propagation at all? Or would I have to just shred it and leaf propagate? All and any options would be much appreciated! Thanks!
Is this how you propagate correct correctly and can I propagate this fern and water as well new to propagating!
I took these clippings in mid January from my mature Zz plant. Looking for advice on whether theyâre ready to plant?
Iâm very proud of my first time propagating any plants! The one in the middle is my newest addition!
