Has anyone had luck propagating a Salix Flamingo and if so do you have any advice? Thank you

My philodendron had a harsh winter and lost most of its leaves and so I finally decided to take the two sprouts that were doing best and try to propagate them. This is my first time propagating though. Is it okay to leave the old roots or should I trim them at a node to start over?

Hi all! Anyone have any tips on propagating bromeliads? My bird’s nest is beginning to grow a pup and I’m wondering when is a good time to clip it and some pointers to help it succeed!

I got these broken off satin pothos pieces from the floor of Home Depot today (they told me I could take them, and I did purchase other plants lol). They already appear to have roots though that look dead. Will I be able to propagate these, or do I need to trim off any dead pieces and try to prop with a different node?

My oregano sprouted! This is the first time I ever have sprouted oregano and I wasn’t sure it was gonna work because it came in a kit. WooHoo!

I need a little advice on how to propagate/plant this spiderette. I want to, but I’m terrified of doing something wrong! 😅

A couple months ago I bought some beautiful Thai basil from the grocery store (for cooking) - I took a couple stems and soaked them for 2 weeks then when they started to root, I transplanted them. WOW. It needs to be thinned out a little right now and I had it in full sun southern exposure and noticed a little wilting so moved it to indirect today. Such a fun project and surprised it’s doing so well!

Hey! I’m fairly new to plants, and my watermelon pepperomia is mysteriously dying (though i suspect root rot). Would I be able to propagate a stem or leaf from it, or is it too small? Could I plant it directly into soil?

I’m working on propagating the spider plants in water. Eventually I would like to plant them in soil. How long should I let the roots go like this?

I did something bold & chopped off my diffenbachia completely — the only reason being was that it was very leggy. After watching videos on how you can prop in water I’m hoping I can save it 😭😭

I lucked up and found a white princess philodendron in a batch of regular white knight… I repotted it after a couple days of quartile from my other plants there were three baby’s in it so I separated them from the big plant. The main plant also had a mesh /death plug around the roots. I removed that … I’m using a chunky mix and and they live infront of my grow light I also have a humidifier close but the baby plants don’t seem to be looking to healthy … Does anyone have any suggestions should I put them in a prop both till the roots grow a little more .. Also the mother plant new leaf came out brown I’m assuming because I repotted while it was pushing it out I plan on chopping that leaf and hoping for healthy new growth … Anyone have suggestions or experience with this????

Hi! I recently bought some purple amaranth seeds (first time trying to plant from seeds!). I’m curious how long I should keep them in their seed starter or when I should try to move them to a different pot? They came with this cheap little plastic origami planter. If anyone has any suggestions to successfully grow these little guys, I’d love it!
