My mother-in-law gave me this plant. I don’t have a clue what it is. I brought it home, rinsed the root area, put it in some rain water with some Prop Drops and have my fingers crossed that it will survive. Any tips or comments will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Purple Heart! Planted it in the backyard and my poor dog was SO ALLERGIC!
