Trying to propagate and revive this snake plant so it doesn’t die. Where would be the right spot to cut. Here?

I would think in between the plants on the root. I think if you cut the root off it would die???

1 mi piaceI will go by the rhizomes, that thick stem-like that connects them. Make sure they have roots to each plants. I'll let the cut dry out for 3-5 days, and pot it up. I also have tried to just plant it to soil after cutting and they did ok. I just didn't water them for 5 days. Either way is good. I marked the area in red. That's how you divide them. If you go to where you marked it? You'll end up propagating them, when you already have good roots in.
2 Mi piaceI agree with the red markings, if you cut on your blue markings the plants will no longer have any roots
1 mi piaceThere are several ways to propagate snake plant. I think the most successful would be to keep as much of the rhizome as you can with each section that you're separating. Cutting at the red line seems reasonable. You can also propagate by cutting at the base of leaves. You can propagate in water or let it dry for a couple days and plant it in soil.
