You probably could plant it now, but I would wait a bit longer

2 J'aimeI’ve planted with way shorter roots, usually after only a week or two. Just make sure you use well draining, loosely packed soil. Cactus and succulent soil is actually really good for this! 5/6 pothos I did this way are showing new growth after a month. The one that isn’t is still alive, I suspect it’s just taking a little longer to root

0 J'aimeGeneral rule of thumb is to wait for roots to be 2-3 inches before potting in soil.
