Can someone please give advice on how to propagate corms from my Polly plant? She was root bound when I got her so after a week or more I repotted her and she was able to divide giving me two plants and about 10 corms. ❤️ Right now I have them in direct full sunlight in a container of perlite and it’s covered with clear wrap to create a greenhouse effect, and keeps it moist. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I just tossed them all in a box with some damp moss. Opened the box every day or two for air flow. Watered it whenever the top was drying out. Nearly all of the corms came up. Walmart was selling these cheap little Tupperware sets that were perfect. The round dishes for bottom watering my small plants and the box for propagations.

How long did it take them to sprout? Thanks for sharing.

Each of the corms were at different phases I suppose. Less than two weeks for the first to pop up. A month and a half later and they each have their first leaf

Thanks. I appreciate it. Hoping for the best. It’s sitting in my sunroom and gets full sunlight every day for about 8 hours. I looked today and some of them have the beginning sprouts or white tips coming out so prolly in another week or so I’d hope to see some more growth. Fingers crossed.
