callisia are really easy to propagate, this subfamily of plants (tradescantia and callisia) basically propagate themselves. just grab a pair of clean scissors, snips, or shears, and cut off a portion of stem that has at least two nodes. a node is the lil bump on the stem that has two leaves coming out from it and possibly a few little root nubs. allow the cutting to dry and heal in the air for a half hour or so, then place in water or a water-retentive media like perlite, moss, or coir. this advice applies to most vining plants also

Thank you I will try that

make sure you peel off those two leaves though so the roots can come through, you want 4 leaves or however many you want at the top but you can peel off as many as you’d like on the bottom portion of the stem to get more roots.

It’s so pretty!! I had a small one.. but it died!! 😩
