Just wanted to share something cool my tri-color tradescantia is doing! I’m propagating this cutting I got from a coworker and a leaf popped up underneath the water! It keeps getting bigger and I’ve never seen a plant do this while being propagated. Maybe I’m just still new to it, but if someone has an explanation that’d be appreciated :)

Tradescantia are hard to kill. This is proof. Underwater leaves on other plants would have rot already.

My pink polka dot plant grows leaves underwater as well. Very strange to see
