Sooo.. What do I do with this? 😅 I put a piece of broccoli in water to see if I could get it to flower and (obviously) there are roots.

    Hmm can it be planted in a small container garden? That’s so funny I never thought of even trying that lol.

    Several of your veggie ‘wastes’ can be propagated including green onions, carrot tops with leaves, celery bottoms and those potatoes self propagating in your pantry! I stuck an old sweet potato in a pot I typically use to grow annuals and it took off. The sweet potato was growing little stems in a dark cabinet. This is one week’s growth! 😂

      Wow, that’s a lot of growth! Will that eventually grow more sweet potatoes?

      I hope it will grow some potatoes. I’m not sure if the pot is deep enough.

    how long did it take to get this kind of growth? i know you can do it with other veggies but i never thought about broccoli!

      I’m not exactly sure how long, but my guess would be around a couple weeks!
