I’m very excited everyone! This is my first attempt at propagating a monstera and I can’t believe it worked. Now the hard part is knowing when it’s ready to be potted. Any and all suggestions to help this baby thrive are welcome!

(I have never tried this myself) When transplanting to soil, I have seen people REALLY soak the soil to ease the transition. Like a muddy pond

So a few options are to transplant and water really well (they tend to wilt going from so much water to very little) Or move it to a draining pot, in a catch pot and add several scoops of media to the water every day for a few days, until it's full, then pull the draining pot out of the cache and set it in a tray. Or move it to damp perlite to transition before moving to soil
2 LikesI’m newer to plants but my friend rescued a deliciosa and I waited until it had this many roots to pot in soil, and it transitioned perfectly! 😂 It was in a big opaque pot which I find much better than clear. Also since the pot was so big the soil probably stayed wet for a while, but I really did need a big pot. It didn’t grow new leaves (had 4 crappy ones) in water but was unchanged for the month it was in water (had a few small roots when I got it).
