Does anyone know how to get aloe to STOP having so many pups? Send help the aloes are literally taking overā€¦.

    Holy cow, I think you accidentally became a dog breeder. Lol okay, bad pun on the term ā€œpupsā€ šŸ˜‚ Forgive me, Iā€™m descended from a notorious dad joker, I canā€™t help it I wish I could help, but I havenā€™t had that problem šŸ¤£ I guess get bad at aloe care? Lol. Out of curiosity, if you use a commercial fertilizer, whatā€™s its NPK ratio?

      I mean something is happening! Itā€™s insanity. Iā€™m about to start putting them by the road with a free sign. I use a granular 14-14-14

      Oh, yup, thatā€™s a lot of nutrients. Potent! Thatā€™s probably whatā€™s got them multiplying like rabbits lol. I would be happy to find a free aloe, so youā€™d probably have some takers if you did put some out

    Just start chopping, they can handle it and aloe gel is amazing, thereā€™s so many uses. I have a cold-pressed aloe gel with lemongrass and it is everything. I use it everyday on my skin and it has a lot of great nutrients and benefits for your scalp, hair, and moisture barrier

      Totally need to look into recipes so I can start hacking away at them! A friend just dropped off my husband and I was like ā€œnew rule: when you come to my house you have to take an aloe!ā€

      Lol these two comments were going to be my suggestions!! My Mom uses it every day on her skin. She loves it! And anyone that stops byā€¦ gift it!

      Thatā€™s a wonderful solution as well, I love passing on the plants as well. Iā€™ve help two of my friends plant their first gardens this summer with plants I rescued or bought with them from my work

    I have a friend in Houston who is having the same issues with her Aloe. She had 27 pups last summer and by the beginning of July she had 30 more so far this summer. She brought me one and Iā€™m thrilled with it but glad to only have the ONE. šŸ˜‚
