By propogate you mean? Did you water/perlite prop, then move to soil after getting roots? Or did you cut a piece off and put it in soil?
1 gillaI waited for it to have roots then I put it in the soil
1 gillaGotcha, when i move them to soil I drench it, and keep it wetter for at least a few days. Then after a week or two of wetter move to a more normal water schedule.
3 gillningarIf it was in water and then you moved it to soil, make sure to thoroughly water it every day and then gradually water it less.. the roots are used to being in water so need to acclimate to the soil
4 gillningarLooks like she needs a drink, did you stick it directly in dirt or did you root it it then put it in dirt? Also I donât recommend watering it everyday even after water propping it then placing it in dirt. Water it thoroughly then in a few days again and then you should be on a normal watering schedule.Water logging the soil over and over again for a few days once itâs in soil can cause root rot even if it was water propped first. It still needs to dry out (level of dryness depends on the plant type) in between watering.
