Wanted to keep a lil thread open for anyone interested in propagating jades. Feel free to share your tips below, and if anyoneās working on propagating their own jade and wants to ask any questions, Iād be happy to answer, but I thought itād be a good idea to show my process on propagating my 30-year-old jade plant, Aslan. Currently, Iām giving the cuttings time to callous, and cut them all with some shears I sanitized with some hydrogen peroxide. Iāll be using colored glass bottles to try to emulate the natural way roots grow with less light exposure than they usually experience with clear bottles. Thisāll be in hopes of allowing the cuttings to develop stronger roots like they would if naturally grown in soil, where they just donāt get that much direct light. Iāll post little updates throughout the weeks for anyone interested.
