Moon Valley Pilea propagation: I've had this pilea cutting rooting in water for over 3 months now- it's pushed out leaves and seemed fine up until 2 weeks ago, now it's yellowing and drooping!! My guess is that it needs more nutrients (from soil), but I'm not sure how to put it into soil. The roots are really thin and tangled so I don't know how to safely get it in without damage. What should I do????

If you'd like it to stay in water, hydroponic and semi-hydroponic techniques would probably be a good place to start!

I’d recommend slowly adding a little bit of soil into the water so the roots can adjust to it! it’s supposed to make the roots stronger before going into the soil

In addition to what the others have said, you could also add a tiny bit of fertilizer to the water to give it some nutrients. I personally use Joyful Dirt, but most water soluble fertilizers should be fine. Only a pinch (or a few drops if liquid) to start! Don’t want to burn the roots.
