   I’m experimenting currently and they are all doing well. Puddle may be best so far. Moss, puddle, stratum/perlite. Just sticking stems in water does well also

   Different plants have different preferences, but for unusually challenging species (side-eye at my english oak) I've had the best luck with water, rooting hormone, and sterilizing absolutely everything involved. Meanwhile ficus benjamina will work if you stick an untreated cutting in any old dirt

   What about pothos? I put mine in water and in 3 days it gets root rot :/

   My Hoya cuttings are doing great in just perlite. I did put some rooting hormone on the ends. Staying healthy and rooting!
