will my dieffenbachia survive propping if half of the leaf is torn off?? i didn’t want to waste the leaf but i didn’t want to keep it on the plant just because im trying to help it look healthier after walmart took its toll on it what should i do?
That leaf doesn’t have any nodes. So no, it probably won’t survive. It may grow roots but it will be a “Zombie leaf”. It won’t grow into a larger plant
2 J'aime thanks for the advice i’ve been trying to get better at propagating but ive had no luck and thats probably why xd
1 j'aime Yeah normally when you propagate you want several nodes and a few healthy leaves. Also when you do propagate have about an inch or two at the bottom free of any leaves so those roots can grow.
