will my dieffenbachia survive propping if half of the leaf is torn off?? i didn’t want to waste the leaf but i didn’t want to keep it on the plant just because im trying to help it look healthier after walmart took its toll on it what should i do?

    That leaf doesn’t have any nodes. So no, it probably won’t survive. It may grow roots but it will be a “Zombie leaf”. It won’t grow into a larger plant

      thanks for the advice i’ve been trying to get better at propagating but ive had no luck and thats probably why xd

      Yeah normally when you propagate you want several nodes and a few healthy leaves. Also when you do propagate have about an inch or two at the bottom free of any leaves so those roots can grow.
