I want to cut back the tallest leaf from the plant in the picture on the left and use it to make cuttings. That leaf is very different from ALL the others. It grew from nothing to tallest in very little time, itās a little thinner and the base is very thin. The other leaves havenāt changed that much in two years and they have wide bases at the soil line. What is the tall, skinny, fast-growing leaf and will it make a good leaf for propagation? This is my first attempt. Iām going to cut the leaf off anyway so I have nothing to lose, but on the other hand I want to try to create more plants that look like the original, with nice wide leaves. The photo from two years ago has the yardstick. The strange leaf is in the other picture. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Apologies for possible confusion. Thereās a k-pop concert at the stadium nearby and itās a lot of chaos around.
