    I’d let the roots grow longer. I just planted a neon cutting and the roots looked like hair. But it was in water for several months. I don’t plant before the roots are 2 inches long at minimum and have 2 inch secondary roots.

    When you do pot in soil, if you start them in a light, chunky mix, it’ll make it easier for the water roots to adapt. Dense soil is harder for them to push through. And um… where’d ya get that pot if you don’t mind me asking? 🍄
