Eeeek, I bought this plant a couple of months ago, from a sale shelf in a supermarket! Look what’s happening! Can I grow these? I’ve never done it before and I’m completely clueless when it comes to propagating and sowing so some help would be gratefully received! Thank you ☺️

0개 좋아요How to propagate these from seed: wait. These can take 4-12 months to ripen depending on species and variety. When they're ripe, they bulge out, turn orange, and become easy to pull out. Once they're ready, harvest them and wash/soak out the pulp to clean off the seeds. Dry them off, then plant in a seed starter tray/flat, and use the cover. These like relatively warm temperatures as seeds (around 70° F), and you may need to remove the cover occasionally to let in fresh air and keep it from getting too moist in there. Those seeds that germinate will take about four years to mature before they bloom
