    It may be able to live in water but I would absolutely put it in soil. They get big and the pot of soil would support it better.

    You would need to ensure it receives the nutrients it needs in water that it would already get in a soil mix. So, depends on you and how involved you want to be.

      How long until I can put in soil? Like how long do the new roots need to be?

      I’d give it until the roots are a minimum of 2 inches long
