    You can try. Normally you'd want sections that are three segments long, but you may get lucky. Put them upright in soil with about 1/3 of their height covered. If they try to bloom, cut off the flowers until they're fully established with roots

    I put mine in water (I think I left them for a couple of weeks, can't remember), then I put them in soli. They used to be 1 segment long, but now they've grown quite a bit.

    I started mine in moss and perlite- stuck them in a plastic container and kept a grow light on them - I was amazed the tiny little guy has two tiny leaves on top. But it took a long while.

    they take forever, but yes, you can prop them. usually you'd want longer sections, but one segment works.

    I just watched a YouTube video where a guy did them with one clipping. Fill a glass with water, put cling wrap over the top of glass, cut slits in cling wrap and place clippings in touching the water, place in window. Let it grow roots, takes about 2 weeks then plant.
