Iāve got this small raised bed, I think my nasturtiums are done for the season, any suggestions of what to plant? Or just leave them if theyāll come back?

if you leave them theyāll drop big seeds you can collect for next year (or they could self-seed depending on your zone) iām surprised to see these spent already. nasturtiums prefer full sun so I might try them in a sunnier spot next time š
1 gillaThanks! I know, too fast for sure! unfortunately I donāt have access to a sunny spot for them š
0 gillningarcoleus is a good option if this doesnāt get a ton of light, they like shade and come in a zillion different colors
3 gillningarWhat zone/region are in? Planting warm weather plants now may not give them much time to mature depending on your region. Some plants that do well in shade are impatiens, hellebores, coleus, caladiums, fern, and sweet potato vines (ipomoea). I recommend going to a local nursery with a photo and planter measurements. Let them know your light conditions. They can recommend locally available plants that will grow well in your container each season. An alternative is to remove the soil and grow shade living plants in pots. Itās not as cheap as growing from seeds. But, itās easy to change out a pot if itās not doing well. Plus, seasonal and holiday changes are easy. Just add decorative elements like light battery operated lanterns/candles, holiday decorations, outdoor rugs/runners and a few potted plants to match the theme. ššŖ“
3 gillningarWould the sweet potato vine be best to grow up a trellis? Iām in Wisconsin too by the way, facing west on a roofed porch
