DDs PLANTS

My variegated jade props. Clipped yesterday. Dipped in rooting hormone and put in dry soil. It'll be under a grow light 16 hours daily. I then placed it in a ziploc, added water to the baggy and sealed. I'm looking for advice when to water and would the baggy and water "experiment" work?

Honestly it will probably work, I just worry about the humidity a bit. For my succulent props I leave them in the soil for a few days before watering. I mist the top layer of soil every few days as a “watering”. Once you start seeing baby roots you can keep misting or water (id only do like 1/4 cup since the pot is deepish). I use a wooden chopstick to see when it’s almost completely dry then I water again.

I took it out of the bag. The water bottom fed the pot. I put it next to mother plant. 🤞
