Hello, I recently bought a beautiful pink dragon alocasia when repotting here I found 6 corms that were nice and healthy. Any tips on how to get them to grow? Like do I plant them in soil or can I grow them in water? Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks :)

I’ve had success using sphagnum moss. I get the moss damp and spread it out in a small bowl or dish of your choosing, and nestle the corm with the stem side down into the damp moss. Be sure to keep the moss wet. Not saturated but pretty damp. I put my corm props in a clear, plastic bin and put a heating pad under it. You can put them in water too. You can find good videos on YouTube on how to propagate them. Good luck and have fun!

i have also seen a few people put them in aquarium soil! you can use brands like fluval stratum, which you can get at petco. the success rate is supposedly pretty high, but i dont have any alocasias, ive only seen videos on youtube. good luck!

Honestly corms are really easy to grow, just plop them in some moist moss (pointy side up) and leave them and they’ll eventually sprout :)
