These stems (?) are coming out of my succulent at work. Can I use these to propagate, and how? Is that normal?

i think those are death sprouts, you have to give it more light
0 gillningarHonestly, I cut off the flowers so it doesnât stress out the plant. But thatâs just me.
0 gillningarCutting them will negatively impact the plantâs hormonal cycle
2 gillningarâCutting off the flowers can redirect the plant's energy back towards growth, promoting a fuller, bushier appearance. This is especially important for young or newly propagated succulents, as the energy required for producing flowers can be better spent on developing roots and foliage.â
1 gillaâIf you choose to remove the flowers, it's best to do so when they are still small and in the budding stage, rather than waiting until they have fully matured. This can help save the plant's energy and promote overall health and vitality.â

I would cut them so there is not as much stress and weight on the plant base.
0 gillningarEcheverias donât have death sprouts, although some succulents do. If itâs flowering, itâs probably healthy. Also, since itâs already so far into the flowering process, cutting them off now wonât save much energy. Unless you donât like the look, I would leave them on to enjoy. Additionally, your plant doesnât look etiolated at all, so it looks like itâs getting enough light.
