My spider plants has these flowers coming now.. can i propagate it using these?? Pls tell how to propagate spider plant

    You can propagate it with the little spider babies that grow off it. It looks like you have one in the picture with the flowers. Some people put them in water. I haven’t done mine in a long time since I have so many in one huge pot, but when I did, I just left it attached to the mother plant and stuck it in the soil. Never had many issues rooting that way. I didn’t cut them from the mother plant until it started rooting.

    I’m not the one to give advice. Everyone tells me how easy spider plants are and give me the babies or ones already potted. I can manage other plants well but I’ve never had a spider plant made it more than a couple months under my roof.

    The babies on the ends of the flower stalks can be propagated, but you have to wait for them to produce aerial roots, otherwise it won’t work. Once it has little aerial roots, you can place it in soil, and you can choose to keep it attached to the mother plant or cut it off, or you could place it in water for it to grow roots.
