So I wasn’t actually sure this could happen until I saw it with my own eyes. Somehow managed to save and successfully “start” one single leaf from a now-dead (one over-watering gone horribly wrong, lesson learned) echeveria. What now? I’m new to keeping succulents (alive, at least) and I have NEVER propagated anything in my life! I am thrilled by this little thing, though, and I want to keep it alive! Any and all advice is appreciated.

    Wait till the leaf is so thin and brown it falls off when you pick it up. Make sure the roots are still attached. Be careful and put it in soil and lightly mist it barely every other day until it gets bigger. Good luck!

    they thrive on neglect. wait until the leaves are a little squishy before watering. only water once a month maximum, and bottom water. top watering gave me mold on my first echeveria 😓
