I was given this etiolated plant - tips on how can I best cut it/propagate?? I don’t have the best success with propagating :( but want to see this plant thrive

    This is just what I would do so don’t think it’s the only way - I’d clip off the plants with about 2” of remaining stems. Then I’d take the tops and cut them to about 2”, take off some of the leaves, let them callous a few days, than stick them back in the soil. Then I’d take all the extra leaves and throw them in a ziplock bag and stick it in a semi-lit shelf to see if they grow roots. If they do, stick the leaves in soil once the roots are growing and watch it all grow back! Make sure you have enough light on them (10-12 hours a day) and don’t over water.

    i agree with chrissy, chop it into pieces with at least 2-3” of stem, allow to callous, and reroot in soil. any leaf trimmings will likely root too. if you live in a humid environment simply laying them on a shelf somewhere there’s lots of airflow will encourage rooting. in a dry area, additional humidity may be necessary, like keeping the leaves in a plastic bag or clear takeout container
