   Gardenias aren’t too difficult to propagate from a cutting. You need a green tip (not a woody stem) of the plant 5-6” in length. Take all but the top two sets of leaves off of it and dip in in a rooting compound up to the last point of leaf removal. Pop it in a pot of 50/50 sand and soil. Keep soil moist but don’t let it sit in standing water and give it lots of indirect bright light. Planta may not give specifics on propogation techniques but the forums will always have people around to help.
