I would like to make this plant fuller. Any suggestions? Can I cut it in half, root it in water and then repot them together, in a new pot? Is there a best time is year to do this? Thank you!

Gorgeous plant! You could definitely chop it in 1/2 or 1/3, root and repot into a slightly larger pot. My plants get ample light from windows or lights, so I don't not chop/prop/repot during winter. And season is game lol
2 Me gustaThank you! This is in the window on my plant shelf. I just moved it for pictures so it wouldn't get lost in amongst the others.
1 me gustaAny special suggestions about how to root it? I don't want to ruin the plant. About how long will it take to root it?
1 me gustaI usually cut about an inch above a node. Then if the inter node is long, cut that back to an inch. Then remove the leaves on that bottom node. Dip it in rooting powder and plant it. It really depends on how long, but usually you should see something in about 3 weeks.
1 me gustaYou could always just cut a small piece off the top, and see how that roots for you first.
1 me gustaOohhhhhh you could totally air layer this!!! That's would make it a less nervous situation too. There's some great YouTube on it. But you basically wrap some damp moss around a node, in a bag, or they have these special balls that clip on. And then you'll get roots in several weeks. Then you cut below it.
0 Me gustaThat's a great plant. You should be able to get several cuttings off of it. The best part of course will be near the top where the tissue is tender. It Roots easier from the top but you could still do a couple cuttings down. Some leaves and a node for roots. The heavier parts of the stem would probably root but it would take longer. And, as Wolfen said probably wait for the spring would be best and use rooting hormone.
