I have 2 snake plant leaves from my grandma in water. She told me this is how to propagate them. Is this correct? They have been in water for 2-3 weeks, and I’m not seeing any roots, only discoloration and brown spots.

I have a snake plant in water that’s given me 5 babaies so far. this is hope you propagate them it just takes some time. Can we see what the bases of them look like?

You would need to let the cut leaf dry for a day or two to call us off and then plant it in soil. I think this would be my preferred method.

I’ve propagated in water— it honestly took at least a month before I saw roots
좋아요 1개it looks like you have some rot at the bottom of the leaves. cut off the brown, squishy parts, and make an upside down v shape at the base. change water once every 4-5 days.
좋아요 1개I did this same thing, with the upside down V, and stuck it in a pot with soil. It took a long time, but now it’s thriving.
