I was going to try propagating my pothos that is doing extremely well in my kitchen. Every vine has new growth on the tips. But when I looked it up, it seems like most places say not to propagate Pothos in the winter. I live in SouthEast Wisconsin. Should I try propagating or wait until spring?

You can prop it in the winter, it just may take longer for them to root and re grow from the mother plant.

Thanks! Place in an East facing window?

I would do west or south but you’ll need to change the water more frequently to prevent algae (depending on how cloudy it is where you live)

You can prop whenever you please. It just needs good light. And may be slower to root if it's colder or less light.

Water the mother plant the day before. It helps the prop out too.

      That is a good tip!

Thanks all for the advice! Currently propagating in a sunny window.
