Do we think this propagation will take?? Was repotting and upgrading the stake for my mini monstera last night when the stem snapped. I love the look and length of the plant, so I’m trying to propagate it in soil from where it broke off. Do we think this system will work? The plant is in very good health otherwise and has been putting out consistent growth throughout the winter and into the spring. Also, do we think the mother plant will be able to put out new growth after this break? I’ve attached pics for reference.

Oh she’s going to be just fine. I do recommend checking the base of the stalk you put in the pot in about a week to make sure it’s not rotting (just happened to me and almost killed my mini monstera) but besides that it looks healthy enough to be fine. Great idea!
