Did I do this right? I had more propagation cutting of this v.SOH but it all rotted in water so I put what I had left in this small 2” terracotta pot. I had it wet and put it inside the jar. Today I checked on it and even more was rotted. Just repotted it all with new dry soil, got the pot wet with a damp paper towel, then I let droplets of water off my fingertips water it. I didn’t mist any water inside the jar, but all what I said I did. I then just put it back inside the jar. It’s underneath my grow light that’s only about 6-8” away from the pot.

    Treat SOH like a succulent - less water and more light for them to propagate successfully. Take that little baby out and repot into dry soil. When you do water be sure to bottom water - this will encourage the roots to grow down searching for water. Their root systems are shallow and watering from the top can be too much for them, especially while propagating.
