Hey guys, can anyone tell me why my roots are growing super long but with no secondary roots? They’ve been propping for months, I change out the water every week or two, and started adding a bit of fertilizer after the roots grew. The left bulb is philodendron micans, the other ones are satin “pothos” (scindapsus but idk which kind). The ones in the pink jar have many nodes with roots coming out but they’re all singular, no secondaries. Also this window they’re in is east facing and gets morning sun, idk if that matters (and yes I repositioned the leaves so they’re not in water and not blocking the others, I had just set this down when I took the pic). Any thoughts?

For the micans, they’re reallly slow to propagate. Guess for the others is maybe they are establishing primary roots first? There are quite a few nodes. Have you ever tried putting a pothos cutting in with your slower propping plants?
