My begonia is tall and lanky after loosing lots of leaves. When the leave fall off it starts more but I want to cut it way back and start new ones. When is a goid time to do this. Thanks for any help

    I do it at any time. I haven’t found it matters much. Lol. In fact I just took some cuttings and planted some other cuttings 10 minutes ago.

    I personally dont let the seasons stop me, but i know some are tied to seasons. You could start to airlayering it now, and cut each individual plant come spring.

      Air Layering is wrapping moss around a node you want roots from, and wrap in a bag or plastic wrap. They also make little balls of plastic too. And the damp moss encourages root growth. That way when you cut the plant, the prop already has roots established.
