Has anyone used rooting hormone powder for water propagation or is it used only for soil? Any tips are appreciated!

    I’ve used take root in water by dipping plants in it and then putting them in water but it never really dissolves fully and kinda just floats around. I don’t know if it really helps. When I use it with prop boxes of moss it seems to really help though! I always get really fast root growth that way.

    I’m trying it currently with some bing cherry tree cuttings, just to experiment. Put them in about 2 days ago, waiting to see what happens
